About the Showcase:
The annual MFAC Holiday Showcase performance gives our students an opportunity to share their gift of dance with our community.
Admission: One unwrapped toy for Cole's Closet
This performance raises close to 200 toys for Cole's Closet, the organization responsible for providing toys to many pediatric units in area hospitals in the Washington DC metropolitan area. We are honored to continue this holiday tradition. For more information about Cole's Closet, please visit www.colescloset.org. The Holiday Showcase will provide memorable entertainment and is sure to brighten up your holiday season!
The showcase provides each student with the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learned, in a very short time, on stage in front of an audience. This event will help prepare our students for our Spring Production at the end of the year. Many of students participating in the holiday showcase have taken less than 20 hours of dance, music and/or theater instruction prior to this performance.
While each student is encouraged to perform in this event, we understand that conflicting schedules may prohibit attendance. If you are unable to attend, please inform your child’s teacher as soon as possible. If you need additional information, please inquire with the staff at the front desk. We hope you can join us at this holiday event!
